# Learning with concept maps and AI-generated podcasts Since using Obsidian for note-taking with a variation of the [Zettelkasten](https://zettelkasten.de/overview/) method, I've found it very useful to first generate maps of ["atomic" concepts](https://zettelkasten.de/posts/create-zettel-from-reading-notes/) using an LLM. These concepts can then be explored individually, filling in the notes as you go along. For new topics, this gives you a good learning path. Taking this a step further, you can generate a podcast from these concept maps using [Google NotebookLM](https://notebooklm.google/). 1. Create a map of concepts for a specific topic you'd like to learn about using an LLM, e.g. [[Map of Concepts in Distributed Systems]] 2. Copy the map of concepts into [Google NotebookLM](https://notebooklm.google/) to generate a podcast 3. Download the podcast to your phone and listen on the go, e.g. [[20250329 - Distributed Systems Concepts_ A Topical Map.wav|Distributed Systems Concepts Podcast]]
